Sparkle Girl Crochet Pattern

A few years ago I was on the hunt for the perfect doll pattern for my youngest daughter, Maddison. You see; it is very hard for a little-one to watch her Momma make loads of Stuffies for other children, but nothing special for you.

Maddie has always been our girlie-girl. She is quite the diva, she has been dancing and grooving since birth. Once she could speak she started calling herself Sparkle Girl. This was a way to express her EXTRA fancy-side. Sparkle Girl normally emerges from her room with layers of tutu's on from head to toe, every hair bow she owns pinned to her head, and her ballet slippers!

Maddie requested a ballerina doll with "tippy-toes", wearing a tutu dress, and rainbow hair. Easy enough, right?! After searching the great web, I couldn't find the perfect doll pattern anywhere. I had this image in my head and nothing fit it! Thus, began the process of creating my very first crochet pattern; Sparkle Girl!

I designed Sparkle Girl with a long body; this way she can still be more of a cuddly doll.

She has long legs and yes, "tippy-toes"!

The Sparkle Girl pattern includes everything you need to know to create the perfect doll. From rainbow hair; to tutu dress. This pattern comes with a full photo tutorial to guide you through every step.

To say that Maddie is very pleased with her dolls is an understatement!
